I ♥ Domokun
This post was definately supposed to be about an upcoming Final Fantasy game, but goddamn it, a brown box with eyes and teeth managed to curtail that introductory post.
But seriously, if you had to ask Miss Geek about what she prefers, of course a strange adorable cuddly thing would overthrow anything else on the agenda. (Girl-like tendancies are still apparent in even the most geeky of geeks.)
As you can see, my header image of the gentle brown monstrosity holding a flower denotes my love for this strange but adorable creature named Domo-kun. (That or I just couldn’t find an interesting picture at the moment….)
In the beginning Domo-kun was part of an ad campaign for NHK, a Japanese television station. As years passed, Domo-kun has become a popular internet meme.
Wouldn’t you know it, that Nickelodeon is releasing the shorts over here stateside? In addition to that, Domo has his very own Veoh channel where you can see him in his element. AND he now has his own English website. Check it out at domonation.com.
Miss Geek warns you that theres a link to a DDR inspired Domo Dance game thats sucked hours out of her life and in turn, may prove to be equally addictive to you readers. So much for videogame-ish introductory post! Everything was curtailed by nothing but a brown box with teeth.
